Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs)
The BCAAs are three amino acids—leucine, isoleucine, and valine—that share a common structure. Research suggests that leucine is the most critical because it stimulates muscle protein synthesis (i.e., muscle growth).* Studies suggest the optimal ratio of leucine to isoleucine to valine in a pre-workout product is 2:1:1, exactly the ratio in our Vegan Pre-Workout.
Taurine
Taurine is a specialized amino acid that is important for endurance and muscle strength.*
Exercise depletes taurine levels, thereby impairing strength and endurance, so it's critical to get a proper amount of taurine after every workout to replenish what was lost.* It has been shown to help endurance athletes and can also volumize muscle size by drawing more fluid into the muscle cells
Coconut Water Powder is one of nature’s superfoods. Our coconut water powder is carefully manufactured and freeze-dried exclusively for Truth Nutrition, providing hydration throughout your workout.
L-Tyrosine is an amino acid your body uses to produce muscle tissue, protein, and enzymes. It's also a precursor to neurotransmitters. This amino acid promotes increased alertness, mental focus, mood, and energy during intense exercise, especially when combined with caffeine.*
Vitacherry benefit athletes by helping protect against post-exercise muscle strength loss and soreness, as well as aiding in muscle recovery.* VitaCherry® Sport delivers the full complement of phytonutrients from whole U.S. grown Montmorency tart cherries. These natural compounds have been shown to work synergistically to boost antioxidant power and promote healthy inflammatory responses in connection with exercise.*
PurCaf® is a premium, organic certified, 90% pure caffeine extract derived from water extracted green coffee beans for naturally sourced energy. Time to kick synthetic caffeine to the curb and make the switch to "green energy." PurCaf® is manufactured by a solvent-free process.
QUERCETIN is a type of phytonutrient called a flavonoid. It is found in fruits and vegetables – particularly citrus fruits, apples, onions, fava beans, teas, red wines, and Uncaria leaves. Quercetin, like all flavonoids, has antioxidant properties. Antioxidants are thought to scavenge naturally occurring but unwanted particles in the body known as free radicals. Through their antioxidant properties, flavonoids like quercetin can help offset some free radicals
BioPerine®
BioPerine® is a patented extract of the fruit of black pepper, or long pepper, that contains standardized amounts of the active ingredient piperine.
